Amazon has announced a new ad campaign featuring designer shoes that are designed with the same qualities as fashion brands.
The ad campaign will run throughout September, starting with the first two months of the new year, and will include some of the biggest names in the industry.
“We want to showcase our best and brightest designers, and we’re not afraid to show you the things they can do for your everyday life,” said the campaign’s executive creative director, Nick St. John.
The shoes are made with high-end materials, including suede, leather and leather-wool.
The campaign is one of the first ad campaigns to showcase a designer’s brand, said St. Johns, who has been working with Amazon to create new content for its platform.
“This is a way to engage with the people that you work with on a daily basis and see how they work,” he added.
The retailer said it has seen an increase in sales of its own products.
“The success of the Prime shopping experience has been driven by the ability to discover and purchase a wide variety of products from some of our most successful brands and retailers,” the company said in a statement.
The company has also created a series of new, exclusive content for Amazon Prime.
“Amazon Prime has enabled Amazon to reach consumers at every stage of their lives, from home to work, and on multiple platforms,” said Richard Fergusson, Amazon’s director of business innovation and strategy.
“Through the use of this new content platform, we have seen incredible results for Prime members, and the results continue to grow.”
